Billy's real estate career started in Aug 1984 after a long career in the trucking industry. A mid-life career change as some would say. Billy was first employed as an independent agent with Schmidel Realty in the great little town of Flowery Branch, GA. That office was relocated to Fairmount, GA in early 1985. At that time Billy became affilated with Century 21, Millwood Realty in Oakwood, GA remaing with that firm until Mrs Millwood opened a second office on Green Street in Gainesville, GA.
Billy and Uraina (Hempsey) reside at 3305 Felicia Ct, in Gainesville where they both have been life long members of that community. They attend Lanier Hills Church where they are charter members "A GREAT PLACE TO WORSHIP "...

| Billy was also awarded the contract to manage properties for The Department of Housing and Urban Development(AFR-HUD.com) for approximately 4 years with the assistance of his Broker, Oma Millwood. Thru this association with HUD, Billy soon became one of the leading foreclosure property experts in the North Geargia area, not only with HUD but also Farmers Home Administration, and the Department of Veterans Affairs |

| During the years at Century 21 Millwood Realty, Billy attended many hours of continuing education thru courses offered by the Century 21 marketing system, including home financing, home ownership, home construction, ethics and many other areas. Billy also completed extensive trainig in Macon, GA; Savannah, GA; and Columbus, GA after which he received the GRI designation. |
